the tools I need to create clothes.

The fabrics I need for Wassily’s clothes.

For the clothes I firstly created some templates for pants and jacket.

I tried the template to him and it looks Ok

Finally, I cut one part of pants from fabric

Then the other part of it

The appearance of pants after sewing them

The second template is jacket of Wassily

Da da daaam Wassily put on his pants and jacket with one sleeve

The clothes are ready and…. He need a head.

I created his head from pottery clay

It is difficult creating the head because of drying fast.

First, my armeture is not joined completely.

I started to join the parts. I used my hands for joining parts because the parts are so small to use any tools.

The completed apperance of armeture of wassily

After the long and tiring process of joining, Wassily had a rest.

Here’s the WIP Jekyll puppet, with his basic shape built up using upholstery foam on top of the wire armature I made earlier. In these pictures you can also see a bit of the stage, which is basically two pieces of masonite pegboard nailed to sections of a two-by-four. The stage area is 2 feet by 2 feet. Thanks to Erick Hershey from the Art Institute of Philadelphia for the pegboard idea!
